Cal. .58. NSN. Standard configuration 56" overall, 40" barrel with no discernible markings, all iron furniture as expected on early pre-Confederate Richmond. Lock marked 1861 at tail and "RICHMOND, VA" with no CS. Captured Harpers Ferry finished parts were generally utilized on earliest State of Virginia pre-Confederate production. CONDITION: Good overall, metal cleaned, gray/bright patina, other than triggerguard which is dark iron patina, added rear sight, stock is sound. PROVENANCE: Bob Allispones estate collection.
